Fight and Hurt VS Unwanted Change

So you work hard, you push, you pull, you do all in your power to help, fix, please. Yet you seem to be going no where. What do you do? Do you continue with this power struggle or do you just forget it, you've tried after all and you're not getting anything back.

It may be something you want more than anything in the world, but maybe at the end of the day, it's the fact you want, you don't actually need it, you don't have to have it to continue living. Or do you? What if you give up on it and then your life changes as of that moment. Never to be the same again. Is this a good thing, is it time for a change of that extent? 

Every time things go right, every time we take 1 step forward we take 2 steps back, each time things getting worst, things being more of a struggle; of a fight you don't really need to be having.

If you walk away, you have no chance to turn back, there is NO turning back. You've moved forward, it's time to not take 2 steps back. 

But what if the next step forward, you actually have another step forward after that one, what if this next step forward things change for good, you've finally won the battle, you're finally getting what you want. 

What do you do? 

Give up and move on?

Keep fighting and hope it doesn't kill you?
