Listening to Lies

They all hurt. All the lies we are told and hear.

Especially when they're from people we loved and trusted once upon a time. 

When you think, maybe, something one day could have worked out.

You get told more lies. They still want you, love you, need you. All this time telling you these lies and also telling these lies to other.

You may try your hardest not to care, but unfortunately you still do. Unfortunately you still care. Unfortunately it still hurts.

But as always, lies are found out. People get hurt. 

Carry on lying. Carry on telling me what you want. I know I can't ever believe a word you say.
